The Bandiera Arancione  is a recognition of quality awarded by the Touring Club Italiano to small towns. It is awarded to Italy for its excellence in tourism, hospitality and environment. Slow Food was started by Carlo Petrini and a group of activists in Italy during the ’80s with the aim to defend our regional traditions, good food, gastronomic pleasure and a slow pace of life.

Hi, my name is Giusy. I am a licensed tourist guide for Florence and Pisa and a tour leader for Tuscany. I was born in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, where I fell for the excitement of travelling that made me roam around the world. For over 20 years I have been working in tourism and since I passed my exam I have spent my life doing what I can do best: telling the stories of my region. I am always excited to take local and foreign guests around Tuscany and I always add a sprinkle of good humour. I like to change and stay in the loop, and that’s how I create new itinerary  where I take care of all the details  those  that never go unnoticed to children.
